The reservation and quota have been concluded by the central government that includes age-limit relaxation, qualifying scores, seat allocation, entrance exam score, etc as compared to the candidates belonging to the non-reserved category.
In NITs, seats are reserved based on the state of Eligibility, 50% of seats are reserved for Home-state candidates, more than half of the remaining percentage resides for EWS/OBC/SC/ST. Some seats are reserved for DASA candidates.
